Our birds' room can be humid starting at this time of year (but is also nice and warm during colder months). A few of the Budgies have started to hold their wings out occasionally. We have central AC but it currently doesn't work well, and most of the house is fine with floor fans and a couple of window AC units. I don't want a window unit in the bird room because I wonder if it would be too cold/drafty.
For now we've been using this fan in there for part of the day. It looks small but produces a decent air flow. I usually set it the floor, turn on "low" or "medium" power, and aim it halfway toward the ceiling.
Would a tower fan be better? Do any of you use them in a bird room/area? I also looked at a few portable ACs online, but some are also humidifiers.
