My gorgeous girl flew from the garden on the 19th February, 2015.

She is gorgeous, timid and very nervous.

She flew from Frankby Road, West kirby, North West, England.

This is Lexxi.

We done everything you could think of to find her.

Awww, what a lovely galah! I so hope you find her. I know you have done everything humanly possible to get her back, but here's a link you may find helpful.

Please don't give up hope. We will hope with you for Lexxi's safe return. It's not a rare event for lost birds to be located weeks after getting lost. Sometimes people will take them in and care for them while they search for the bird's family.

Saying a prayer for Lexxi and you, too!

I hope you are reunited with beautiful Lexxi soon! Sending my very best for a safe return.

First of all, the bird will remain in the same general vicinity.

Sometimes if they're scared, they'll hide until they get hungry or thirsty. Then they'll seek out someone they sense is sympathetic to them, to help them.

I've lost Tusk five times, gotten him back every time. The key is to let everyone in the area know the bird is missing, what he looks like, and that you are looking for him, and to KEEP LOOKING! Been here many times myself... I know how gut wrenching it can be.

It can take a week or so for them to come out of hiding sometimes. It can take another week or two for the person who finds him, to find you...

So, keep looking, keep the faith, and don't give up!

Good Luck!

She's been gone 4 weeks today.

We've done everything and more, 100's of posters up with a reward offered, last night changed all of that to a £500 reward for her safe return. Newspaper, radio, knocking on doors, leaflets/flyers through doors, Facebook, local lost pet/ animal sites, RSPCA, RSPB, bird watchers, lots of people looking for me, postmen, delivery men....the list goes on. We have had 4 phone calls today about parrot noises but no sightings, someone has definitely taken her in.
But thabnk you for your advice, it gives me hope.
