Lovebird "pushing" beak against my face?

Both of my lovebirds have this behavior (but one more than the other): sometimes, for no apparent reason, they'll "push" their beaks up/across my cheek, chin, or even the back of my head or behind my ear. This seems to be a happy behavior. Anyone know anything more about the behavior?

My guess is they are just being affectionate???

Basil does that to me and I agree that it's happy affectionate behaviour.
