Loving my little ones!

Hello! I am pretty excited to join and learn more about my new little guy.

I got a young green Parrotlet, Quinn, right after Christmas last year. She is my first bird and she has been wonderful! At first she could hurt me pretty bad, but after a few weeks she warmed up to me and now she is my little chatter bug.

Since her I have been thinking of getting a larger parrot as well. I have tried looking into rescues in cities around me, but haven't had luck. I'd still love to find a Macaw sometime. The other day I found a sweet little guy and my husband decided he could be my early anniversary gift!

Duncan, a Pineapple Conure, has been so entertaining already (I've had him just a few days) and I look forward to learning from all of you how I can teach him things and get him to eat a larger variety of natural foods. I'm pretty excited to watch both of my birds learn new things!

Hi there and a warm welcome!

I just saw you inquired about a harness for Quinn. Many of us use the 'Aviator Harness', however, AFAIK they don't come small enough to use for your Quinn.

Thank you all! I did find the Aviator, saw it wasn't going to work for Quinny. Duncan is going to love it though Sounds like a good Christmas gift, since that's probably how long it'll take me to have any extra money, ha!
