macaw
Hello, I have a macaw that was surrender to me a couple of months ago, apparently he/she is 30 ish years old and it is adapting well to my home, it was living in a 2by4 cage and now spend most of the day in my shoulder and my hubby build a new cage 12x4x6 for the times that it is not with me 🙂
But! It is regurgitating a lot, I only do head scratched and we are changing diet( it was only seeds and salted peanuts before!) and is hurting its wing
Any help is much appreciated! Thanks for reading🦜♥️

Do you know what happened to your macaws wing? It does look like in the video that it’s drooping. Is it bleeding at all?

Have you consulted a vet?

I hope that your beautiful macaw is okay!

Hi! It bites it's wings to regurgitate😩 and then go on the floor and eats that... disgusting...

THese are 2 unrelated actions I think, however, clearly this macaw needs to see a qualified avian vet (not a dog and cat type vet) ASAP. Good luck!

I do have a macaw that I adopted with a broken wing that droops like that. It’s an old injury. He severely plucked his feathers under his broken wing. I was informed there were options if it were a new injury. Since I wasn’t in that situation I wasn’t told what the options were. Please take your beautiful macaw to the vet to be evaluated. I’m not saying the wing is broken. It would be hard to tell by photos, but if it is injured hopefully a vet can help.

I will go to the vet soon
Thanks for your reply🦜♥️
