Made some new toys today...

Sisal rope, sisal twine, wood beads, plastic beads, tounge depressors, food coloring, jingle bells, and wicker balls.

I put the bells inside the wicker balls so they jingle.... and here are the 6 toys I made today... They cost $3.12 each to make.

Thanks... they take about 20 min each to make.

I used a made up knit stitch and big knitting needles

Still perfecting the design, so at the moment each one is a little different from the next. They are 18 inches long and about 4 inches wide. I'm taking then to my friends place tomorrow for her to give to some of her birds. I've started construction on a giant sisal net for climbing.... we'll see how it goes.

I am leaving for a weekend bird show in the morning So I will have to buy materials and do photo instructions when I get back. But I'll be sure to get it done so those of you who want to know how to make them can do so for your birds.

I used some leftover stuff to make a creepy little voodoo man toy, and here he is....
