Sisal rope, sisal twine, wood beads, plastic beads, tounge depressors, food coloring, jingle bells, and wicker balls.

I put the bells inside the wicker balls so they jingle.... and here are the 6 toys I made today... They cost $3.12 each to make.

Very nice! And can't beat that price.

Those are great! They look like a lot of work!

Can go into business with them toys, I'll give you that.
Nice craftsmanship

Thanks... they take about 20 min each to make.

I used a made up knit stitch and big knitting needles :D

Still perfecting the design, so at the moment each one is a little different from the next. They are 18 inches long and about 4 inches wide. I'm taking then to my friends place tomorrow for her to give to some of her birds. I've started construction on a giant sisal net for climbing.... we'll see how it goes.

Wow those are amazing! Wished the toys I made for my Alex was is good as those. Well I don't think it mattered to him, just as long as he got something to rip up. xD

Very nice. On top of saving yourself money it is fun to make the toys. Yours look more sturdy than the ones I make.

From the looks of it you enjoy making toys. Looks like you have had plenty of pratice as well. I just started a year ago and i am not that talanted yet.

I need to pick up some more supplies, but I am gonna take some progress photos for you guys.... they are REALLY easy to make.

It helps if you know how to knit though :D

Wow those are nice!! I wish i was that talented. I thought i was doing good when i was making straw ladders with some string. lol Those make me look like mine were made by a baby lol. Fabulous!

20 minutes!?
You have fast fingers!
Just imagine how quick you sort through mail!
Dont be afraid to experiment with your talent, you might make something great-er

They look fantastic... How about some step-by-step instructions for the creatively challenged.... :o

I am leaving for a weekend bird show in the morning :( So I will have to buy materials and do photo instructions when I get back. But I'll be sure to get it done so those of you who want to know how to make them can do so for your birds.

I used some leftover stuff to make a creepy little voodoo man toy, and here he is....
