For those of you that don't know I struggle to get Rosie to play with toys. She's just not a toy bird although I'm trying very hard to get her to play with something XD She prefers chewing on freshly cut eucalyptus branches/leaves and tearing up her foraging box to find goodies. Even though she ignores most of them I continue to buy her new toys in hopes of finding something she will like as well as adding to my toy rotation stock pile. Once I have enough I also plan to make her a cool toy out of empty paper towel rolls and toilet paper rolls since she likes chewing on them
Here's the toy I put together today.
Before
Plain old(ignored) bamboo pieces.
After
I've added a chunk of cuttle bone, finger traps(thanks to my safe bird store) random pieces of wood from toys she doesn't like to add separation, the bamboo pieces, and two parrot Hawaiian delight cookies I bought today. She doesn't like them but I'm fine with that, they add a interesting texture.
Here's a older toy I made for her, it was a coconut toy with ropes and blocks of wood(two of those blocks are included in the above toy).
