Looks like a boy to me.
immature Tiels look female with dark head.
Male birds have the bright head color (for normal grey mutation).

I agree with texize above I think it's a male normal grey. It looks exactly like mine. Me and the store owner thought it was female at first cos it had a grey face but then it molted and got this yellow face which is almost certainly a male.

So tail barring and female personality doesn’t matter ? So it’s a male alright 👍🏻

It’s an adult , it sure does have a bright face but has tail barrings too and I read somewhere that males lack that barring so i was a bit confused and still am as it has a female personality, doesn’t do anything , a male would 🫥

I'd say male but look up florida bird DNA testing it's like 10 dollars.....I used IQbird testin a numbe of times.

You definitely have a boy :D! Other things to look for are beak banging (My Moon likes to bang his beak on bowls for the sound) and singing.

That tail hasn't got the barring of a female. I don't know about its personality but it's features say that's most probably a male

It’s one of the nice things about cockatiels.
Some of the mutations….. what’s the technical term.
sexually dimorphism .
normal grey.
Pearl.
white face.
um… those I am sure of.
Pied no.
Lutino no… but I have read Lutino’s are 3x more likely to be female.

Can I identify the gender by pelvic bone test ? ( in case of tiels) I searched from the internet and got to know that for cockatiels , this method is nothing more than a myth.

A pelvic bone test. That's the first I've heard of it. There is a member here that says DNA testing is much cheaper that I thought. On this thread they say it's only $10. You can look into that

All they need is a feather, anything with dna figuring out XX or XY nowadays is childs play.

Also having looked further into it you can get avian sex testing kits that you can do yourself for under $50
