We had Mario (white faced pearl cockatiel) for approximately 6 months and he was only 8 months old.
He used to follow me around everywhere, would sit at the front door until I came home and I taught him the "Addams Family" tune. He was a beautiful little man and knew when I was feeling down.
Unfortunately my daughter accidentally stepped on him and he passed away. I cried and cried for 2 days and I ended up having a dream of him; he was sitting on top of my pillow looking down at me as if he's going to be watching over me.
We have now been blessed with another cockatiel ("Bubba") who is EXACTLY the same as my dear boy Mario.
