Maxx is 1 year old

Maxx turned 1 year old on the 26th. I was busy with family visitors that I didn't get a chance to post on here.

I can't believe he is 1 already. Seems like yesterday HE picked me out, at 11 weeks.

What an absolute joy he has been. He is a very quiet, playful, fun loving bird that I can not imagine my life without.

I take him to work and he will go from finger to finger, never biting, and doing the side head time that melts anyone who happens to fall under his charm.

My family visitors, which included my older niece, her other half and 11 year old son were totally mesmerized by Maxx. Enough so, that I think a bird will be their new family pet.

I spent the afternoon on the patio with Maxx as he basked in the sun.

Happy Birthday Maxx!

You and I (Franklin) are only 11 days apart, and my Mommy didn't get the chance to post about my birthday on March 15th. It's okay, I totally understand as Mommy was under a TON of stress with one of her biological children. He's 14 and been a real stinker the last few months.

My Mommy and Daddy weren't even looking for another bird, let alone a green cheek when I made them take me home. But, I KNEW they had to have me the second they walked in the store. I did my best show ever and it worked! For them AND for me...I LOVE it here

You are quite handsome, such as myself. Mommy posted some pictures of me outside too...only she makes me wear a stupid flight suit. I mostly hate THAT part of my life, but if that's all the embarrassement I have to endure, it's still worth it to live here were I'm totally loved and spoiled rotten.
