Charlie is an unsexed Blue Front amazon...She? is missing her entire left wing and a nail on one foot...she seems super sweet so far no lunging or attacking of any sort

Here she has water on her head and you can see where her wing is gone...

Awesome! I remember your post about considering her for adoption. She's adorable :) as long as she's healthy, who cares about the wing. Clipping will never have to be an issue lol!

yeah but she is a flopper...when she gets nervous she tries to fly but can't so she just falls...I hope that she is healthy...I am gonna try and get her to the Vet this week...He stays pretty booked...Her feathers are kind of rough looking but I think it is because of how she climbs all over the cage

Ohh, Charlie is beautiful!!

I don't know her story, but so glad she has a good home!

One of our Goffins is missing a toe off of each foot.
When we first got her, she wasn't used to climbing around, and would fall sometimes. Once it was bad enough that the tissue around her broken tail feathers
had to be glued. That was scary, quite a bit of blood that day.

But as time went on, she got much better at climbing and almost never crashes now. At the same time, she has both of her wings.
I hope Charlie finds a way to compensate for the missing wing, eventually. And I hope she has soft landings!

Sending hugs~

apparently from what I have been told the wing got stuck in a cage with the first owner...I am the 3rd as far as I know...so she has been without it for at least a year...but the Lady I got her from never was able to hold her or get her out of the cage ...she seems fine other than being a little nervous...no bad behavior as of yet but we will see...Also she came from a home with no A/C either they just left the windows and doors open... she has already taken and eaten an almond from me

I am gonna see how she does and let her settle in and then I'm gonna get her a bigger cage

She looks great. Hope the vet gives her the all clear!

Well at least she's got a good home now. Any kinks can be smoothed out. She looks good :)

Many congrats on Charlie, Heather!!! And KUDOS to you for taking her in despite her small handicap.

She truly is a pretty girl!!! You must be SO very excited, and I'm so happy for you!!! :)

Right now im gonna watch her and see how she acts...she has 2 perches right now and 3 toys not gonna go overboard till I find out what she likes

Congrats!!! Lucky you with 2 Blue Fronts {My favorite] :)

Awwwwww...Charlie is handsome!!!! I wouldn't give him too big of a cage due to being handicapped, especially the height part since he falls over. :)
