Meet Jake and Finn!

Hello there!

I have 2 budgies Jake (yellow) and Finn(blue)

I have had them for close to a year now. They are sweet little guys who love to be out of their cage for hours. They finally started eating veggies/fruit after seeing my new GCC eating some!

Anyways I just had a quick question eveytime I walk up to them in there cage they start stretching their wings, every single time. Does this mean any thing in particular?

Nope my GCC does that when she wants to be picked! They are stretching one wing at a time usually stretching it over the foot.

Maybe it's a coincidence that you see them stretch when you approach the cage?

Stretching when they see you is probably their way of letting you know they are happy to see you and ready to play.

My tiel stretches when I walk up to the cage because she knows she is coming out and she begans to prep herself to come out. She either stretches in her cage or when she gets on my hand.
