Ok ok, not the current one but still an honor. He teaches Sunday school. It was awesome.

Oh, wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!
That photo will be a family heirloom!
Congratulations.

LOL I looked at the photo of your son first and was thinking "Wow, he is quite ambitious for such a young one, but why not ..."
(I'll show myself out now)

Is that Jimmy Carter? Cool

An honor indeed, what a special family photo!

While Jimmy Carter's presidency is the most senior of living presidents, he is a few months younger than George H.W. Bush.

Regardless of their political party, they are such a very small population of individuals. Any chance in seeing, let alone having photos with any of them is well worth while. The group of six America currently has is the largest number of living Presidents America has ever had at one time.

Great photos by the way.

What a great thing to be able to tell and show your son when he is old enough to appreciate what an honor that was. Maybe he will go into politics as a result? We need more politicians who are parrot people!

Absolutely, Steven! Their longevity in recent decades during retirement is most impressive, even as they visibly age on the job.

I'll give a plug for visiting presidential libraries. Sort of a misnomer as they are also grand museums open to the public. An elaborate time capsule of politics and culture during a given era. Thus far the two I've viewed are opposite my affiliation, but no matter, was immensely enjoyable and educational. So many artifacts and declassified stories, some have elaborate displays of their childhood homes and aircraft/helos used for transportation.

Many presidents kept birds, though fewer in recent decades. Andrew Jackson's parrot apparently cursed during his funeral!

An honor, indeed! Wow! Does he teach Sunday school at your church, or were you just visiting someone else's?

Your little man is growing bigger by the second! And stylin' in his hat!

Hahahahaha! I love this!

Sorry I ran out lol

He teaches in his hometown about 1 hour away from us :)

It was fantastic. I honestly expected a nonsense lesson but he is quite the biblical scholar!
