Mental condition conflicting with my interests (more of less passion.) Urhg.

Hi, Ashley. I'm so sorry that you're going through this right now. I know how much you've come to care for Yoshi in such a short period of time, and how much you've already invested in building the bond between you. It shows in all of your posts and all that you have done to give him the happiest possible home. But don't give up hope just yet. Remember that your feelings of anxiety, and your reaction to those feelings, are likely ramped up by your pregnancy. So temporarily relocate him to your dad's if need be, and see how you feel around 1-2 months after you give birth. The landscape may appear much different to you, then.

I'm not saying your anxiety will suddenly be a non-issue, but I bet that you'll find yourself in a much better frame of mind to deal with the onslaught of thoughts and emotions that run through you. Know what I mean?

And in the meantime, Ashley, we'll all continue to be here for you. No judgements. No bashing. From anyone. (Or they'll suffer the wrath of Labell's Scottish temper.) ;)

I'm a nervous wreck leaving him here, but it's better than re-homing him. And it's only for a few months, and after that hopefully I'll be okay to bring him back home with us. All I can do is hope they read the notes I leave about him before they do anything with him food-wise. I'll be here as often as I can though, atleast in the morning/mid day. I don't want to abandon my conures at the apartment.

I understand anxiety all to well. I went thru a bout of it a few years ago after having an angioplasty. It is not fun at all. Praying for you to come out of this in a short amount of time and getting so you can enjoy your fids again!
