MISSING WHITE BIRD (WHITE ALBINO COCKATIEL)

Hi Everyone,

My Albino cockatiel flew off yesterday in Oakville Ontario (Canada) region around 4:30 pm. She wears a purple diaper when she flew away, she also has a leg band with a phone number on her left leg. I’ve attached photos of my lost cockatiel on this thread, it would be much appreciated if you can share the post and provide any information on the lost bird.

Welcome to the forums, @Suziewang, although I'm sorry to hear of the circumstances. Have you listed your 'tiel on https://www.911parrotalert.com/ as yet? You can list her there as "lost", and also check under "found" birds to see if she's been picked up. It's fairly common for pet birds to seek out a friendly human in these circumstances and they are often handed in to vet clinics so do alert ALL vet clinics in your area, not just avian ones. Also alert local community Facebook pages and even put paper flyers in letterboxes in your neighbourhood - I got an escaped Indian ringneck back that way many years ago.
