Moldy bath

Hi all,

I’m looking for some advice on my parrot’s bath. Unfortunately, I accidentally left it with water in it for a few days (it’s an outside the cage one, he had no access to it) and I went to clean it and there was some pink mold floating atop the water.

I’m seeing conflicting information on whether F10 is enough to kill any remaining spores. The bath has received a thorough wash with dawn, and now I have it sitting in the bathroom sitting after I sprayed it down with F10.

Is this enough? Should I just get rid of it? I don’t want to risk my baby.

I looked it up because I never heard of pink mold. It's actually a bacteria. It can be serious to infants, babies, elderly. Birds are sensitive. Check his water and food dishes because of the close proximity. Because it's a bacteria I'd strongly suggest pitching bathing bowel.

Weird. It looked fluffy and pink but maybe I didn’t see it clearly.

Well, the good news is we wash his bowls every day with dawn. So there isn’t anything in it, lol. They’re also stainless steel. Alright. I’ll just toss it then I’m too paranoid
