She has reached her terrible two's. It's what I call it at 4-6 months, and it's 100 % normal and it will pass. She is uncomfortable, and therefore irritable. Give her a bath daily and some space. If she were my bird, I would clip her wings and give her an attitude ajustment. Parrotlett are aggressive lil freaks. I love the way they will stand up to a full grown person, animal, inimate object without hesitation. Stompping around like a lil dinosaurs, shaking their heads (well that's what mine does anyway) heehee. They do not like hand clapping, crinkle paper, or even snapping. They will get in your face and tell you all about it. I wouldn't allow her on your shoulder or anywhere near open skin right now, and no kisses until she goes through this time of her life. Mine transitioned rather quickly, but she is still a moody lil thing.
