Presently have six Greenwing Macaw (17 yo), Red Fronted Macaw (12 yo), Red Lored Amazon (17 y.o.), Lilac Crowned Amazon (about 43 y.o.) and a Congo African Grey (11 y.o.)
Panama Amazon (1 Y.O.)
Beautiful Dusky!
Raven has started go in his bowl to trample his dry food lately. I've never seen another parrot do it.

I was actually mixing up a fresh batch of conure mix when this was taken. Demitre interrupted me, actually chased me off, got in the thing, and started rolling around and splashing AS IF taking a bath in food...

And he was rather insistent on not being removed from the tub. (He was still quite evil at that time.)

THIS is the little bird that was involved in the now infamous "shower perch" incident.

hahahaha! That's hilarious! What a great personality that little guy had :)

Those two quite literally EVIL birdied their way out of five homes prior to us. We were a home of last resort. And, thanks in large part to an amazon that wasn't going to let a couple of puny conures disrupt the "flock ettiquite" around here, their behavior finally turned around.

Sally played a HUGE roll in training those conures.

Demitre was one of the smartest little birds I had. Too smart for his own good, really. He could be a major stinker, or a real love, and sometimes both within minutes of each other. He was cognitive, and at times, spoke in context. He was my best trick bird... one of the most entertaining birds I ever had, and also one of the most, if not THE MOST aggravating.

Probably THE MOST... if not, then very close to it!
