Hi There,

My name is Lisa and I am from the UK, I'm hoping someone could help me regarding the cage id like for my gray Barney, I've been after the Montant las vegas 1 for over a year now (the reason y I would like this cage is it is the same size as the cage he already has and very simular in style) I have tried every stockest in the UK and been advised that Montana send shipments to Europe before the UK therefore id be lucky to get one. I'm hoping someone could let me if I was able to get the from another country but worried how much the shipping cost would be. If I can get the las vegas 2, id also be happy wih that.

Hope you can help,

Many Thanks

lisa

Have you tried speaking to Scarlett at Scarlett's Parrot Essentials and see if she can help? They're very friendly and always happy to help when they can! Good prices and selection, too :)

Hi Riaria

thank you for the reply, yes I have tried Scarlettes they r the ones that told me about Montana, and also maybe trying a smaller cage as some grays prefer a smaller cage as some grays have night frights, Which barney has, though he only has about 5 a year. I really dont want to go for a larger cage as I don't have the room, I brought the Heidleberg last year but ended up selling it before Barney even went in it. I really have my heart on the las vegas but the problem is finding one.

Thanks very for replying

Lisa

Oh, I see! Yeah, sorry I can't be of much assistance then :(

I'd still go for a large cage though, if you can - greys are relatively large birds and need a lot of space (obviously, depending on how much time they actually spend in the cage). For night frights, I'd either get a smaller cage (travel cage, maybe?) for sleeping in, or pad the bottom of the normal cage with several layers of newspapers or even towels. It's the height that's the problem if they fall, and even the smaller cages are generally the same height as the larger ones, so won't help much to have a smaller cage. :)
