Moulting Grumps

So I've heard birds can get moody when they moult but ohhhh boy! Talk about devil bird! Bob has started lunging, biting, squawking when we go near him and pinning us with his eyes.

Just wondering if your birds get this bad and if so, how do you manage them when they are like this? Do you leave them alone? Leave them in the cage? Interact more?

I always respect a grouchy bird and leave them be. Those pin feathers can make the kindest bird get grumpy. Mr. Molty might appreciate a routine misting of cool water during this time.
