I just noticed my budgie Ryder bobbed her head while eating, she also breathes out of her beak and not her cere. I know the beak-breathing is bad but does it have something to relate and is it that serious?
A crossover Quaker Scuti (F), A Sun conure named AC, A Cinnamon Green Cheek conure Kent, and 5 budgies, yellow (m), clark Jr. (m), Dot (f), Zebra(f), Machine (m).
Could it be the bird was happy with what it was eating? My birds do similar with treats and even make cooing noises. In the short term I....wouldn't be to worried about it, I have 7 budgies and they all bob around all the time. They are always just living in the moment.
