My Eclectic Duo Random Pic Update

Hey all!

Been a while since I've thrown up a flock update, so I decided to post some of the pics I took of my molting duo. Mostly from yesterday, and mostly of Maya who was feeling particularly photogenic.

LOVED this one of our resident diva!

This is the focused look Maya gets when I talk to her. Especially after a shower.

And check out the crazy eyes when I whistle for her! Hahaha! Happens every time!

Jolly grabbed some shower time as well.

It always cracks me up how different he looks when wet. He's like another bird!

The funny thing to me is how swiftly Maya is able to get herself looking all dried off and made up as opposed to Jolly. So he has the stuffed toy look for at least twice as long as Maya does.

"The lookers of the parrot world." Her Royal Highness the Lady Maya would agree wholeheartedly with you. Jolly would just nod absently as he searched you for food.

Thanks, Jim! Yeah, there's just something about those ekkie faces that just melts the heart, isn't there? And even after years, it hits you anew every time.

It is so understandable that it took years to come to the concussion that they are the same species! The differences are near overwhelming. Yes, the coloration, but the eyes and surrounding areas shapes!

Yes, I agree. Body shape, coloration, eyes... hard to blame people for initially assuming that they were separate species. Works for me, though. No DNA tests, here! Lol!

Hahahahaha! I don't think Ekko needs to give Jolly the side eye. Poor Jolly is getting no play whatsoever from Miss Maya! Lol! So her dance card is open!

Mayas beak is sooooooo shiney, and that eye ring is beautiful! Kinda reminds me of eye makeup in the 80's

And little Jolly looks sooooooo cute when he's a soggy poof-ball! Look at that little face!

Oh, yes. I LOVE Maya's eye rings. The blue eye liner is mesmerizing! 80's eye makeup? Hahaha! I know what you mean.

And though I wish I could take credit for their synchronized wave, I must, in all honesty, admit that it was merely fortuitous timing. Lol!
