My first DIY toys!

these are a few of my first toys i made this afternoon. i didnt have a lot of toy parts so they are very similar but i like them they will work great for the bird too.

this is a sort of foraging toy. those are like mini buckets with a string through the middle so i can hide treats in it!

these are both similar. just wood bloses, rope and a bit of leather strung together for chewing. tell me what you think and post some pics of your own toys!

awsome and thanks! i think they are okay considering it was only like 12 dollars worth of parts(from a birds show), about 20 min, and my first ever toys. looking forward to seeing yours!

It is great when you take the time to be creative and make toys!!! I usually save all my babies (got 3 so there's lots of toy pieces)toy pieces if they are still good and put them in the toy drawer. Drsfostersmith.com has reasonably priced toy kits w/ hooks ropes etc.to use also.I found if I make the toys in front of them my birds seem to enjoy them more. Go figure lol
