I have, a Bodin's Amazon, Blue Crowned Conure, and a Rainbow Lory. Just wanted to introduce myself to everybody.

My first bird was a green cheek conure. What a bird! You don't have to pay a lot to get a lot of bird when it comes to these feathered monkeys.

I was just looking up information on Yellow Crowned Amazons. How do they compare to Yellow Nape males at maturity? I'd rather get a female if the males are as bad as their yellow nape cousins. I don't want to go a year or two not being able to comfortably interact with him. I'm hoping to purchase one this year. I was going to get one 6 years ago, but when I went to put money down but they already sold her. I ended up getting a Bodin's Amazon instead. Fantastic bird unless you want a parrot just to "parrot" phrases.
