Hi everyone, A most fascinating thing has happened. My Golden Conure named Muffin has taught my Violet IRN name Blueberry to speak and to call just like Muffin! They are both a year old albeit Muffin is a couple of months older. I'm sure others on this forum have experienced the same thing but for me it was the first time that I have had birds of different types teach other their calls and human speech. So much fun!!!!

I think I need, no I must see pictures of these beautiful talkers!!!

Wow, that is amazing.
My budgies never learnt human speech although copied the sound of a canary from Bell. Now that he is old he doesn’t sing. Even though I do hear the beautiful song of a canary everyday, it’s not from him. :D

How fun! My birds have learned a few words from each other over the years.

A Queen of Bavaria Conure! That’s very cool :) you don’t see a lot of those; would you share a picture? Many people probably know it better as a Golden Conure :)

Totally believable ! My own yellow shoulder Amazon, Salty, has learned several words/phrases and even some opera, from watching videos of other parrots on Youtube! He actually learns best from Indian Ringnecks, for some reason, and a few choice Amazons. HaHa, your Golden COnure is giving you 2 for the price of 1. Cool, very cool !!

My mom had a pet store that specialized in birds. She had her main 3 cockatiels to keep, some breeders and the babies to sell. Well we had a cockatiel named Spike and he'd sing "Spike's a pretty bird" so much in a day that he taught the other cockatiels to do it and then with 3 birds saying "Spike's a pretty bird" all the time I'm pretty sure some of the babies for sale ended up learning it too.

I wish I could learn how to post pictures but I am so technologically impaired! LOL! I did however actually install my Apple TV yesterday! To me that was a major tech hurtle! Ha! One of these days I will sit down and try to do it. Thanks for all your comments. My parrot children are a joy to me as I am sure they are for all of you.
