Hi there,
I'd like to say hello as I'm new to the forum.
I recently adopted a GCC from my mum and dad, they had him for a few years.
But unfortunately due to the ammonia it has effected my mums asthma quite bad so I said I would take him on in my new flat.
Darcy bonded with me when I was living at home so when we got him to our flat he was quite chilled with the new environment. His diet is quite varied he could do with more veg but haven't got round to it yet. But a couple of days in he seems to be grooming himself and pulling feathers from under his wing. There only small feathers but I am a little worried. Note his cage has never changed so his home has moved with him.
He has his cage open all evening as soon as I get in and he comes and sits with me on the sofa for an hour. I'm trying to get him to realise the the house his is oyster but he seems to just stay in his cage. It's like he doesn't realise he has wings :34::02:.
I've attached a couple of photos of our new cheeky feller and his home.
Any advise would be great!
