My line of work and my baby bird

Over the summer I'll be acting as a lifeguard/water instructor and I'll be in or around water with chlorine in it. Will these chemicals that I'll be in for a long period affect my bird?

It not a full chlorine pool by the way, it one of those half Chlorine water and half salt water pools.

A good thought. Chlorine will wash off in a shower so your bird should not be exposed.

 

[Sabbath]

Plan to take a shower first thing when I get home as I hate the grime that comes with the pool but it good to know that a shower will fix the problem. Thank you
