Hi. I owned a Senegal many years ago, and just recently became a first-time lovebird owner. Meet Butterbean. She hatched 12/24/2014. I got her about 6 weeks ago. She wasn't hand-tamed, but she now knows the up command and has settled in nicely. What kind of lovebird would you say she is? I think she's beautiful.

Hi there! My best guess would be that she is a pied creamino (maybe?). It's hard to tell, and I'm not sure if those mutations actually show together.

Welcome! Aww, your Butterbean looks so much like my Coco! It's pretty rare color. I got Coco last year also untamed, but now she is my best friend. Lovebirds are so much fun!

Sorry I forgot to answer your question about the kind of lovie. As far as the pic shows it's an Australian (or American) whiteface cinnamon blue. It's a peachface lovebird mutation. Google it up and see if it looks similar.
