My new baby!!!!!

Hi, I am Emily and I am 13 years old. My mom thought it would be a good idea to join this forum. I have two parrots. One quaker and one sun conure/green cheek hybrid. I researched for 4 years before getting my first parrot. My first parrot was Pickles, the hybrid. We purchased him(not sure if "he" is male or female) from a local bird shop at the age of 2 months. We brought him home at the age of 3 months i believe. He is about 5 months now. He is really growing up to be an adorable little boy. He already laughs, says step up, pretty boy, and says hey Pickles!. My mom saw a 6 year old quaker up for adoption at the Iowa Parrot Rescue. We went to visit him and made the decision to adopt him. When I was researching before getting Pickles, I had already learned alot about quakers so I was very prepared. He is the most adorable little boy. We named him Penguin and he says many, many things including peek-a-boo, hey, baby bird, wooo, hmmm?, no no no, dont bite, hi, hello, byebye, whats the matter, wachya doin?, *laughs*, *snores*, Whistles many tunes like the Andy Griffith Show theme song, and he says and does many more things! I am very happy I adopted these birds!

Welcome to the forum ! You know it's wierd that your only a year older then me ! I like how you researched befor getting your parrot. 4 years ! Congrats on your Quaker !
