This is Skyler. He is actually a little older than I was thinking he would be but that is not really a problem. I cannot wait for him to get here!!!

Nice. They could be siblings. lol. I will have him on the 18th. Got him some more toys today as well. And the PC piping stuff to make a car and shower perch today as well. Now if I can figure out how to do that... lol.

Thank you all very much. It is very exciting. I have even had his cage lined and ready to go to over a week now. lol. And its like Chris told me yesterday, only seven sleeps now and he will be here. That is really not a lot of time.

Thank you guys. And it is a breeder from Texas. He is being flown in on Friday. There will be plenty of pictures!!! I did find out tonight that they put my on the schedule at work when I specifically requested off on Friday so I could go pick him up. One of my managers is doing what she can to fix this problem, and she knows that if it comes down to choosing to go to work or leaving Skyler at the airport, guess which one I won't be doing? I don't need the job anyways, its just for something to do so they've been informed that if they don't fix it I will not be there. Eh, its more time to spend with Skyler anyways. lol. Can't wait!!!

My work knows it too. If its between work or my animals, my animals comes first. I had to do that numerous times. When my macaw's foot got caught in his toy, my partner called me at work on emergency. I left work right after the call to go home to free his foot from the toy. I took many pics before I removed it off his foot and the company got a nasty email along with pics of what their toy did to my baby.

You better believe if something happens to Skyler from a toy I buy I am going to be sending the people a real nice letter. I have inspected all the toys I have bought and none of them appear to be like they will be a hazard. So I will definitely have some issues with that. Unfortunately for me, I work for McDonalds, and although they are trying to fix the issue, if they can't get it fixed, they won't care that I have Skyler at the airport. They will fire me for not showing up. But that is fine by me. Right now, I am working the job to have something to do, not cause I need the money. So it really is absolutely not question. It would actually make me happy. lol. Not that I want to leave like that, but if that is what it comes down to, then I will.

Yes he was fine after I lube his foot with olive oil and used pliers to rip the toy apart without hurting him. It was not pleasant!

Nice, congrats!!! I am super excited about it. Have you come up with a name yet? Rosada? lol. I am actually waiting for my breeder to call me back tonight. I might be getting him early. She was wanting to send him to me a couple days early so she is going off my school schedule to see what she can do. !!!

I think i'll be going with Saphira The weather looks slightly warmer for Friday and I'll have the weekend off to hang out and talk to her... And make bags of food to have ready for mornings!
