Jonesy a Goffins 'Too who had to be rehomed :-(
And a Normal Grey Cockatiel named BB who came home with me on 5/20/2016.
...just a while ago..he is 29 and does his "own thing" and We rarely see each other (except when he WANTS something
).
So he had a package delivered here and came by to pick it up. He has never met BB,so I introduced them to each other. I got Beebs out of his house and tried to get him to go to "uncle james".
BB hesitated, always jumping/fluttering back to my arm or shoulder. I persisted..It took about eight minutes or so for BB to step up on James' hand...then RUN up his arm to his shoulder
. BB immediately started in with his chattering. BB A GOOD BOY? Hi I'm BB! WHATCHA DOING?? then came the wolf whistle..and Andy Griffith theme..more BB A GOOD BOY??
He had James in stitches
Now I have mentioned before that my son is NOT a birdie person ( Why don't you get a DOG Dad??)
But the kid immediately fell in love with the little grey ball of fluff.
Dad! BB is awesome! He talks so clearly! What a pretty little thing he is! With a tiny little voice too! Beebs even let James skritch his noggin. Maybe there is hope for the kid yet
