This is Tezcatlipoca. I found her in a tiny cage in a flea market with a bunch of birds twice her size almost entirely black feathered and clearly harassed by the others. Two years later her feathers are still changing into a blue red faced blue crown beauty. The people who sold me her thought she was a green cheek but she has more in common with my painted conure Quetzalcoatl. She seems to be many species together at once. We think maybe in a year all her older dimmer feathers will have molted. She's a very interesting and spirited bird! What do you guys think? I mostly see painted, but she has some black cap red feathers on her wings and a pearly/crimson like blue on her cheeks.

I *DO* see a lot of painted-looking feathers!
I very much admire Painted Conures...
Thank you for rescuing this beautiful darling!

Welcome to the forum! Tezcatlipoca is gorgeous, looking forward to seeing her after she moults!

The Rickeybird proposes marriage, says he already has a diamond leg-ring picked out. This is not true. He also says he is a reverend, and can do the marriage himself, the better to get to the honeymoon. This is also not true.

I recommend going with JoJo.

She is beautiful, regardless of her parentage! As for marriage to the Rickeybird... I hear he's father beater, just ask RIval. Salty, on the other hand come from a good family, treats his mom and dad well, and has promising future in films. He's not a conure but these days mixed marriages are passe'.

It is as Mr. GoodWrench says.
It is as everybody says, including me.
The Rickeybird is an ungrateful, impolite, insincere, unfaithful, ill-tempered hooligan.
I'm glad it's out there, for everybody's good!

Do regular green cheeks not have blue wing feathers at the end of the wing and red tail feathers?

Haha well Tezca actually hates birds (at least conures). I tried to introduce her to my male painted conure but she tried to eat him, she did the same to my black cap. My black cap runs in terror from her and Tezca is only 54 grams, she's super tiny at 2 years old! Tezca only likes women too, men make her extremely nervous. She does like my male quaker Pompeii, who the other conures absolutely hate. She seems to see him as a sort of big brother.

Her favorite thing to do is nestle between my chin and neck and hide, she loves to be in small spaces

She also makes slurping sounds

She's very beautiful! Definitely reminds me of a painted conure, possibly mixed with a pearly, but it's also entirely possible she's 100% painted and needs more time to catch up on feather development still. She sounds like an absolute hoot!

Lucky bird! It always makes me sad to see birds in those situations. She's beautiful. She looks happy.
