Hi all, just a quick question. My new CAG is a wonderful bird but I've never had one before. Sometimes when he is hanging out with me he will turn his head to the side and narrow his eyes at me. Tried to look up what this means but was unable to find anything. He usually does this when in a calm, relaxed state so I wondered if it means contentment or something more like "I'm happy here, leave me alone"? Lol :grey:

Not sure what you mean by narrowing, but it could be that he is sleepy. When birds are wide awake and alert their eyes are round, but when they get sleepy their eyes turn almond shape. Is this what you mean?

He's probably just relaxed and content being in your company. Does his beak grind at this time as well?
