NATURAL toy for Macaw and/or Amazon

My new GW isn't too crazy about BIG, colorful toys (just yet), so today I made him a less threatening, ALL natural toy.

Things needed:
BIRD SAFE Natural wood pieces (preferably WITH bark attached) - DRILLED
Stainless Steel Chain
Stainless Steel Quicklink
Sisal Rope

To add a little color I also used 2 large Marbella beads, 2 pieces of colorful cotton to attach 2 stuffed fingertraps.

Thank you! All of this is from an Ash tree. And it has been thoroughly cured, it is as hard as a rock.

LOL. Hopefully not long at all. Ripley has NO trouble destroying the Amazons' toys on the Java Tree, but he hasn't touched the BIG, COLORFUL ones I've made him. So I'm hoping to "ease" him into chewing/playing with HIS things.

You should have seen my face when he started going to town on his perch. He was literally stripping the bark in NO time. :11:
