My 6mth old green wing macaw, today when to my desk table, and bite up a paint marker. And the paint is yellow, how ever I don't think she got consume it. But just got a slightly paint stuck at the tongue and some on the beak. Right now she still active and eatting well. So anything else I need to monitor?

Are you somewhere in the world you can get your little one in to see a board certified avian vet? I'm worried. There is absolutely no way he did not ingest any.

Exactly what kind and brand of pen was it?

My vet over here now having break time..

The paint marker pen brand is uni paint which from mistubishi pencil co.ltd.

Should be bro.. cos my shop paint marker is yellow color.. but right now she is active and eatting well.

Bug, thanks so much for searching and posting the safety data sheet!

Appears the GW did not consume sufficient toxicity to cause immediate illness. However, I'd be very concerned about long-term risk, particularly if some of the ink remains within. I would strongly advocate for an avian veterinary consult just to be safe!
