RIP Gandalf and Big Bird, you are missed.
Really nice story! Quite amazing to have a bird as a beloved pet that retains much autonomy and freedom.

There was another thread about this recently. It's absolutely amazing to me that this type of bird that we think of as wild, can be more tame than many parrots are!
