New babies SI Ecluctus

hello an welcome an pics when you get your babies ;)

Congrats! Isn't that kind of young to be getting them?

I do hope you know how to handfeed! And also have read up on their requirement once fully grown! Good luck otherwise....

Congratulations! I want more ekkis! I am in love with them. I have a 10 week old male right now. We have had him since he was 6 weeks old and he is PERFECT! Just remember it takes time and patience to get these little suckers to eat!

Yes i have feed babies before when working at the vet, and as far as them being to young i dont think they are, I know i can handle them , just wondered if anyone had any advice for me... I had one a long time ago that i was i guess you could say fostering.. but i want one for my own now

IMO they are way to young to be taken from the parent & should at least be 4 weeks old. That is the age i take my chicks & i must say they get the best start in life & my success rate is 100%. And they only require 3 feeds a day at 4 weeks. To many things can go wrong with very young chicks in the hands of a novice hand rearer.

However you will need a brooder to keep them warm at 2 weeks they are naked. They will require 8 feeds in 24 hours. 3 hourly intervals.

Not sure what advice you are after. Can you be more clear.

I agree... two weeks are way too young...
