New baby coming Friday

I got the cage cleaned and rinsed thoroughly and all set up. I cant wait til Friday

Why are you leaving those shelves in there? That is going to be terribly messy, not only will your new conure poop on those shelves, it will also walk around on the shelves and get poop on its feet and tail feathers, if I were you I would remove them and just add a few more perches.

I plan on getting more perches so the shelves except the food and water one are temporary. I agree with the concerns, but they are cleaned about every 2-3 days or more often if needed. This was the set up we had for our 15 yo quaker because it was hard for her to perch. I plan on getting a small fake tree to put in there as well. I'm not sure on that one yet. But with never having a gcc before I am definitely open to suggestions.

Waiting on breeder to call me back. I might be getting new baby tonight. I'm uber excited. Got a cozy for him and some more toys. Next check a few more perches. I didn't see any I liked at this store. I'll keep you all updated.
