One female Congo African Grey
Revisiting Jingles documents, I realized she will be age 30 on Christmas Day. I have been telling everyone she is about 28 or 29....but 30! Yikes. I never really thought she could outlive me.
She is getting nervey....she wants to visit our dining table when we are having dinner. I pick her up, and put her on the table over a clean open napkin, and put some of my food on it making sure it does not have oil, salt, and deadly spices for her. She had never done this in the past, but she seems to want to wonder more. The hard part is having to watch her at all times. She likes getting under my desk. It is dark and cozy, but there are computer cables. Birds like to bite and chew everything! Our large breed Great Pyrenees Dog even gets out of town if she goes near him.

Now is the time to reinforce, by COMAND, to your bird.
TONE is the key, - most birds pick up quickly what you want from them, in their actions. And the areas that are no go. Practise changing your tone without becoming hysterical addicted to it. The response you get from your bird dictates the amount of repeating required
Slowly, but surely, you will get results
