New CAG - best gender

Hello, I have a question about which gender of CAG would be better to get. We currently have a female at home and we want to buy another one. But I dont know if we should get another female because I read that they could get territorial and fight ( They will have their own cage next to each other ) or a male. My main question would be if I get her a male friend would they still be nice and affectionate towards us or not? I know it also depends on the specific bird character but I am wondering if somebody hase any experience that its possible. Thank you.

It is ALWAYS a crap shoot when introducing a new parrot into the flock, and that flock includes you and your family. Impossible to predict and often set in stone. Make sure you are getting an additional parrot because YOU want one and not just to keep your present parrots 'company'. Messing with the flock dynamics is not something to do lightly. Good Luck!
