They are feathered cuties, but not parrots :).

My chicken flock is mostly around 5-6 years old, so it was finally time to add some new babies to the mix. My older girls are awesome outdoor pets, but the flock is shrinking as time goes on.

Nothing cuter that these little fluffy butts and I had forgotten how adorable the peeping noises are.

Oh my goodness Jen, how sweet are they!? [emoji3590][emoji3590][emoji3590] The peeping is so cute, I'm waiting for Tucker to start doing it too.

How many do you have? We were stable with the current five, then our niece came home with three more chicks. Then... My wife decided she wanted another white one like Yin, and came home with two leghorns, a buff, and a black one like Yang, bringing the count to twelve. The seven new babies are so sweet, but I have no idea what we're going to do with a dozen eggs a day once they're all laying. Eeeek!

Cuteness and fuzziness overload, Jen! Congrats on your totally adorable babies! Oh my, oh peep peep! :D

I was down to 5 hens, 2 roosters and 1 turkey tom. I used to have 12 hens, 2 roosters and 5 turkeys. I’ve lost several birds over the past year (they are all around 6 years old).

There are 6 little peeps in this batch and the local feed store is getting more types that I want over the next 2 weeks so will probably add 4-6 more. I love baby peeps!

I take dozens and dozens of eggs to work and everyone takes them home....I just love having the chickens and there’s no way I can eat that many eggs lol :p
