WOW what a pretty bird! Please share photos as it grows!

please do keep us updated.

After a bit of looking it looks kinda like what Google calls a rainbow budgie

beautiful and cute as all get out.
Thanks for sharing.

It reminds me of dogs (or people for that mater) that have eyes of different color.

It will be very interesting to see if that color separation changes after first molt.

What a beautiful little baby! This is one of my favorite budgie mutations for sure!

Wow! What a beautiful budgie! Please share photos as he grows, I'd love to see more!

What darlings! Looks like that baby will be blue and yellow. I've seen that mix in pet stores, though I'm not a budgie expert and am not sure the "name" for that coloration. I think they look like tie-dyed budgies:) Very pretty.

Question- Some of the babies look a lot smaller/younger than the others? Are they from 2 sets of parents or did they just all hatch at different times?

Its from the same litter.. 2 days difference each .. because the hen lay an egg every 2 days

I have just read about chimerism budgie .. is that possible to be one of those ???

I think that's a rainbow budgie as opposed to a chimera budgie, you can see bits of yellow and blue on both sides. gonna be interesting to see how the feathers get once they're a little bigger!

My first thought is a chimera, but those are extremely rare. Perhaps this is a form of parblue (turquoise)?

I love parrot genetics but budgies have so many mutations that it makes my head spin! I would suggest joining one of the budgie genetics forums on Facebook, and then LET US KNOW because I’m very curious now!

Half-sides is chimera... I really would suggest keeping that baby! Unless you want to sell it to me ;)
