Hello there. I posted an intro earlier but somehow it didn't take ;)

I've had parrots for the past 18 years. Right now I have a 17 yo TAG, an 18 yo White-Capped Pionus, and a new baby linnie (turquoise). I'll be getting another linnie (cobalt) in early spring and I just put a deposit down for a Crimson-Bellied Conure.

I also have 2 dogs (Irish Wolfhound, Cavalier) and 2 cats (Maine Coon, DSH from shelter). I guess you can tell I do like animals :)

In the past, the parrots I've had were: 2 cockateils, Goudian finches, budgies and one Dutch Blue lovebird.

So, I'm looking forward to learning more about parrots here and reading about everyone's experiences.

My dh is along for the ride and a very good sport.

I have 2 grown children, both in grad school right now.

I have lots of interests but animals have always been a primary one.

My Daughter lives in Maryland!!

Oh? Whereabout? I'm in a suburb of DC, near the small town of Laytonsville.

Welcome! Your flock is beautiful! And you have a lot of experience to help new owners.

Hello Julia! I'm from Maryland too, near Baltimore and Towson. Azul is gorgeous!

Hey! I grew up in the Towson area but moved the the DC area after I married 30 years ago ;) Yes, I'm old :D

I haven't heard about this "bird whisperer" seminar, but sounds very interesting.

Wow, lots of Maryland natives here :) I was born in a
Baltimore hospital (Union Memorial), when to Towson High School, lived there until I moved when I was 28.

Thanks for the compliments for my birds, everyone :)
