- 2 Timneh African Grey children. Patti's been missing since 6/5/11.
Hello. Am new to the forum. I am the proud mom of two 9 year old Timneh African Grey parrots, Patti and Eli. Patti came up missing June 5, 2011. Still search for her all day. Been hearing her, but cannot find her. Have all sorts of Parrot alerts and flyers out everywhere. I also have an 8 month old human child, 3 hooded crows and a loving husband who loves my babies as much as I do. Yes, the birds all do get along. They've been together as babies, and although they are all different, they get along and love each other. If one child gets scolded "don't do that, you know better!", they all give me flack for it. lmao.
Nice to see I am not the only mom on here with variety in their households. Right now the house is in chaos with Patti missing. Eli is doing what I'm doing. Only sleeping when completely exhausted, eating a nibble here and there, and searching for her. The crows still sleep, eat and drink, but they've been calling for her. They wake up at 4:30 every morning and call for her. My girl hoodie, Emily, actually calls out "Patti, come home.".
I don't know if a neighbor has her and isn't giving her up or if she's outside, starving to death. Anyone here from Kendallville, by any chance? Anyone know of someone who recently got ahold of an African Grey since June 5, 2011? Even my 8 month old human child looks for her and cries. When he was born, she was the very first to accept him. She would get up real close and talk to him. The first thing she said to him was, "Hello, Little Eagle." because that's his name. My hubby named him. He's the first of our children that wasn't named by me. I didn't let my hubby have any say in the naming of the bird children.
Well, I've probably posted too much already. Thank you for reading.
