Hi

My name is Melanie and I have:

Badger - Pineapple Green Cheek
Peanut - Spectacle Amazon (rescued her)
Bonsai & Yahtzee - Severe Macaws (rescued these two last week)

Within 5 minutes of meeting my macaws, Bonsai was on my hand and moved up to my shoulder. It was love at first sight! After our long 4 hour car ride back home, I noticed two very different personalities. Bonsai is dominant, loves to be the center of attention, and may have been mistreated. Yahtzee loves to cuddle, sit on my shoulder, hung out under blankets, and rubs his face against mine.

I've always had parrots in my life from the moment I was born. My Dad has a Military Macaw and I knew I wanted a macaw. Now I have two!
