Hi everyone - I'm new and we just got a new Lineolated Parakeet about 2 weeks ago. It's a boy! We finally decided on a name . . . "pickles" since he's green and none of us were agreeing on a name. I'm excited to belong to the bird world again. I've had birds my whole life since I was 4. Now I'm introducing them to my kiddos (6 1/2 yrs and 4 yrs and our baby (12 mo.) who I'm keeping away from our little bird).

Little Pickles is alot of fun and very gentle and fun-loving so far! I hope it stays that way! My kids love him and so do I. This is the first time I've had this type of bird. I've had a quaker before, a lovebird and several american parakeets.
