Hey everyone. If this has already been addressed elsewhere, please feel free to point me toward the thread. We just brought a Nanday conure (Zeus) home yesterday and he is doing well. We are leaving him alone to get acclimated, but my question is whether or not it is okay to bring our sun conure (Zak) out of his cage to play as usual. Should we let them both chill while Zeus gets his bearings for a couple of days? I'm afraid that Zak will fly onto Zeus's cage and set him back in the way of getting used to us and his new home. If anyone has some pointers or suggestions I would be more than happy to hear them. Thanks!

The new Nanday should be quarantined until his health is cleared by an avian vet for illness or for 30 days. You could have your sun out in a different room while the Nanday is under quarantine. I have a Nanday and a Sun too! How exciting to see someone else with the same 2 birdies!
