New owner of a B&G Macaw

Its only some parrots that get into the height dominance game, on an individual basis.
Salty is on a ceiling chain as a play 'stand', but I can take him off of it no problem.
Cages are more often seen as their 'crib' an you dont mess with a birds crib, baby ! Quakers even defend their cages aggressively!

Wonder why she will grab treats from.my hand no problem but when it comes to stepping up she doesnt like my hand what so ever

Also to add when she is in her cage she will come up to my finger and lick my finger without biting too and let me pet her beak
I don't get it lol
