New Parrot Owner

Hi, I am a new parrot owner. I've only had him a few months. I joined this forum because he fell the day before yesterday and I think he hurt his leg. Please help us. I dont know if I should take him to the vet or not. Also I am looking for health insurance for him. If anyone knows about bird insurance that would help

I don't know anything about bird insurance but I think you should probably go to the vet, and the sooner the better. Make sure it is an avian vet though, most general pet vets just don't know enough about birds.

Id take him to the vet as well, if you havent yet, he should have a full checkup anyway.

I keep arnica on hand (for myself as well), and if I think Puck has hurt himself, I'll give him some. It's good for minor things, like bumps and bruises, but shouldn't replace a vet.

I would take him to the Vet just to get his leg checked out!
